Śnieżnik Kłodzki Nature Reserve - A Jewel of the Sudetes
Established in 1965, the Śnieżnik Kłodzki Nature Reserve spans over 1,800 hectares in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It protects diverse ecosystems, including dense upper montane forests, subalpine meadows, and the peak of Śnieżnik Mountain (1,425 m a.s.l.).
The reserve plays a key role in protecting the unique flora and fauna of the Sudetes. Visitors may encounter rare alpine plant species as well as deer, foxes, and many bird species. Its rich biodiversity gives the area great ecological and scientific value.
