Stara Morawa Reservoir

The reservoir in Stara Morawa is located at an altitude of 525 m above sea level in the picturesque Morawka River valley, within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park buffer zone. It is an artificial water reservoir covering 5.5 ha, which has become a local tourist attraction and an ideal place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The reservoir was created in the early 21st century as part of recreational and tourist investments in the Stronie Śląskie municipality. It was built to serve the local community and the growing number of tourists visiting the Sudetes.
